We are looking forward to welcome you to our rural vacation villa. I am currently away so it will be the housekeeper, Rafael, that will meet with you and be your primary contact during your stay. Once you arrive to Málaga and are ready with the car to head to the house please text message him again to let him know that you are on your way.

The house is in the country just 4km from Alhaurin el Grande and there are taxis that you can call to take you anywhere but  l highly recommend that you bring a car so you can visit the nearby traditional villages, natural parks and beaches, and also to go to restaurants, supermarkets, banks, etc.

The check-in is normally after 4pm and check-out before 11am. But we can accommodate you if possible. There may be other guests leaving the house the same day that you arrive or the same day you leave and the cleaning crew has to do a thorough cleaning of the house. If you come early you may leave your luggage and go to the village to do your grocery shopping while the house is being prepared for you. Before your departure, and at your earliest convenience, please send Rafael a text message letting him know at what time you plan to leave the house so he can instruct the cleaning crew.


For your convenience we like to meet you at the Repsol Gas Station at the entrance of Alhaurin el Grande, coming from Cartama, and then we will show you the way to the house from there.

There are new roads ready to open that connects the Airport to the Highway to Cartama (A-357) which may be available at the time of your arrival. Once you are in the highway A-357 take the exit 52 to Cártama and follow the signs to Alhaurín el Grande.

We are required to make a copy of your passport or ID before handing the keys, please have it ready at the meeting point so we can take a picture with the mobile phone.

We have scheduled the maintenance of the swimming pool every week, the maintenance person goes there every Friday or Saturday to clean and treat the water. The gardener go also regularly to do maintenance work or check the irrigation systems.

We can provide maid services to help you with the cleaning and laundry during your stay for an additional cost of 15 Euros per hour. Please let us know in advance if you will require this service or have any other request.

  • To access the Internet during your stay:  WiFi name: VegaFahala  |  password: naranja$ – There is a 2GB download limit per day and it is unlimited from 1-6am, please schedule any large downloads to be done during that time.

About the fireplace: Please be extremely careful if you use the open fireplace in the living room, this should be done only by adults and must be attended at all times. You must leave the room open for ventilation and be sure there is no furniture or clothes near the flames as they may easily catch fire. Do not burn garbage, oils or plastics, it is dangerous and will leave bad strong odors in the house. This same recommendations apply when using the charcoal barbeque outsite.

About candles: Please always use something under the candles to prevent drippings because they are very difficult to clean, specially over the terracotta tiles. You must also keep the candles attended at all times to prevent any accidents or fires. Any costs for cleaning wax drippings will be deducted from your deposit.

About Air Conditioner and Heating system:  Please turn off the air conditioner / heating before you open windows or doors or leave the house.

About housekeeping: The house is thoroughly cleaned and all laundry done before your arrival. You must clean utensils and appliances used after you do any cooking or after any mess in the house or terraces. If any extra cleaning is needed after your departure it will be deducted from the deposit.

About the shower: Instead of a regular cold and hot water controls you have on the left the control of flow (more or less water) and on the right a knob to set the temperature you like. There is an additional knob to direct the water to the fixed overhead or to the hand-held one.
